Maybe false alarm but recently Putin said that they will develop restrictions for young ice hockey players willing to go abroad.

In this particular case I think that was said about the U18 players.

However previously they had tried to make a law about the U23 players needing to pay to be able to leave, but then relatively recently something happened and the government's attention has shifted to other areas.

thats what I was thinking, it sounds like theyre talking about junior agers

this is a pretty stacked division for 3on3 though, michkov atanasov and goldobin together should cook

Any idea what's up with Michkov? He was performing marvelously thus far, yet (at least stat wise) appears to be struggling since returning to the lineup from an illness.
