Kakko and Hughes are both definitely playing full NHL seasons, regardless of whether Hughes is physically ready or not.

Kakko looked incredible again. Amazing vision.
Just to clarify, so that even "Mestaruus" understands:

When you say "full NHL seasons" you do mean "full NHL seasons next season", right? Because for whatever reason some people can misinterprate that.

You are talking about seasons. Not next season. At least you had the honor to not edit your post and to not fix your error. This is getting annoying. Good bye.

I didn't edit my post one bit. Learn English.

Both are playing their own seasons the next NHL season. Therefore it's season(s) not season.

I said, originally (and haven't edited it - it's still there if you want to read it): "Both players will play full NHL seasons." I even replied to you talking about the next season - which one would think should help you understand the meaning of my reply. But apparently it didn't and out of nowhere you though I was talking about future NHL seasons.

Kakko is physically not as mature as many other top prospects but his strenght on puck is on another level. Kakko is so lanky that his potential will drive me crazy.

Yeah people seem to forget that while Hughes will get more strength and muscle, so will Kakko. Will be really interesting to see how their careers go.

You really can't read, do you? I did not say you edited. I said you had the honor to not edit your post. Now calm down. Now I'm really done.

Yeah, haha. Reading about him being physically ready already is kind of funny to read because he's really not very full yet. He's listed at 181 lbs.

There was nothing wrong with my post so there was no need to edit it.

You should be done. Don't dig yourself a hole any deeper.

Kakko and Hughes will both play full NHL seasons next season. That's what I said from the beginning and that's how it will go.

So not only can you not read but also are plain wrong.

I would even say that Kakko has more height to fill in. Hughes have other things that he needs to learn to be really good NHL player. Kakko obviously can develop also other parts on his game but I can see Kakko benefitting alot from physical training.

I didn't claim otherwise. Both will play NHL seasons. Other plays a full season next season and other doesn't.

Jack Hughes is the bigger question mark here. I think many of us here can see that. Jack Hughes is a monster vs juniors but I haven't seen that yet with grown players. With Kakko I have seen that.
In all fairness Hughes has played 3 games agaisnt men... need to give him some more time.

But I agree. Again i prefer Hughes, but right now Kakko would be the better NHL player. That could change this summer depending on how much weight Jack puts on, along with a couple of other factors. Watching Hughes today, the OT shift in particular, was certainly a cause for concern. at the same time... there wasn't a whole lot to watch of Hughes today. Blashill was NOT feeling him. anyone know what the final TOIs were?

He is going to have it really hard on NHL next season. This is big ice where he has more time and space to use that skating and players aren't as good as they are in NHL.

Kaapo's shooting volume is admirable. 18 SOG already (6 SOG/GP).

And then those wasted excellent high danger passes. Same 'game slowing' effect is working too when he has puck possession, like it did in FEL.

Damn great show. Happy to be alive to see this.

Around the middle of third period they showed both on the bench with TOI.
H 1340~ K 1300~

Id say its about even after the game. Kakko had a monster shift on the 3v3 and well.. The Messiah fell down from an extended hand and went To gatorade.

Franchise.

Jaeger only problem is that you forgot the word 'next' from that original post. It's easy to undertand wrong what you say if you forget to put in words. I bet you do this a lot with people? Not really my cup of tea.

Eh. How many career games has he played on the big ice as opposed to NHL sized ice? The big ice isn't an advantage for him. If anything thats an advantage for Kakko right now since hes been playing on it his entire life.

right, like i said the OT shift was concerning for hughes. and Im not talking about average TOI. Hughes barley played this game... didn't really have an opportunity to get going.

Kakko obviously stood out more today... but how many more minutes did he play? 10? more?

I don’t do it a lot and didn’t do it intentionally. I would’ve definitely added it there had I known it’d come to this.

But like I said: I did bold the part (of your post) I was referring to. I think it was only common sense that both were talking about the next NHL season.

When you are as good skater as Hughes, bigger ice is always advantage over smaller ice. He was also just in u18 where they also played in bigger ice.
