NHL teams exaggerate and cook heights all the time. At 19 he was listed as 5'8 from NHL central scouting. Not many people grow 2 inches at that age. On average, most men are finished growing at the age of 18.

Indeed, but... i don't trust NHL central scouting measurement skills, at all, they have ****** up so many times in the past
- besides, officially (Eliteprospects.com,NHL.com,Coyotes.com,db...), he is listed at 5 foot 10, so....cry me a river lol.

NHL.com and Coyotes.com is the same thing, and Elite just sources from there.

I don't get why you don't trust the one service that measures them. The only mess-up I can think of is when they let the first batch of kids be measured with shoes on. They tend to source proper measurements, even if the kid isn't at the combine. NHL teams constantly improve guys heights, when they haven't actually grown or they are measuring them with shoes on.

Ive seen him many times outside of hockey... Hes lucky if hes actually 5'8

Definitely the hardest working player on the team in the last few games in my opinion.... man can he hustle , so many times rushes into the corner and comes out with the puck against guys twice his size..

His first few games was very non productive , but his last 9 have been real good. Even having his first 6 games non productive points wise , he is 5th in PT/GM . ( not saying much as it is the Yotes )

4th OEL is .55 after 42 games
5th Garland is .47 after 15 and almost a pt/gm just counting his last 8

For shots among forwards he is doing well also

has 41 shots in 15 games , the next closest forward is Vinny Hinostroza with 57 in 32 games
By comparison Schmaltz has played 17 games 18:00 min ice time and has only taken 29 shots

For only getting 12 min of ice time per night , he is doing quite well.

Slapshot to the face, gets stitched up and comes back to score another.

I never heard of the guy before tonight. Truth be told, I pretty much only watch Islander games. But I saw him get hit in the face on that goal, and I was so nervous it was his eye that I turned the game off. I'm glad he's OK.

It may be silly to point out, but I'm somewhat undecided about him due to having more goals than assists, his trademark in Jr.

Is it just a fluke?

He had 193 assists in two QMJHL seasons, and only seven in 58 NHL games.
