Kid looks great ,pretty nice to see for Van and their fans
You could aim that rant at any fan base that has a promising prospect. No it absolutely would not!
Anyone who is a fan of another team I feel the need to apologize on behalf of Canuck nation we are not all like this.
My fellow Canucks fans please pay attention, it has been ONE ****ING GAME! One, no he hasn't proven more than Nylander let alone being worth more either, Nylander in his rookie season had 61 points, we would be extremely lucky if Pettersson did that and no it's not a guarantee as some of you think. I think he will be a very good player in this league, but he still has to prove it.
This is really ridiculous and is only going to put unfair pressure on the kid and make us as a fanbase look delusional and ignorant. Stop.

Only one rookie has put up 80+ points over a full season since Malkin did in 2006, and you're expecting EP to accomplish that as a bare minimum?
Shut up.
Malkin is actually a good comparable for EP
A scrawny kid who has only played 1 game thus far. Okay...Malkin is actually a good comparable for EP

What about Barzal?
Edit: pardon me if you are talking about Barzal, I misread your post
Two goals and one assist in his 12 minutes of his hockey career. Good start.2nd goal of his career
Might actually come trueOkay, if he doesn't get a hat trick tonight we know that Nylander is better.
