My original comparison was Filip Forsberg and after watching them play one another yesterday and I'm sticking to it. Both skilled, smart players with a heavy release and average skating. Production is similar as well.

I think he could be even better than Forsberg. Boeser's hockey IQ is better than Forsberg's.

He might have earned the title of most overrated prospect in the league.

Y’all need to chill.

I speak for myself on this. You can look at my post history if you like, I am not a Canucks homer. I know talent when I see it, and that's why I'm great at the fantasy hockey thing. I was telling one of my friends that Boeser could be better than Forsberg before this season, and it's because Boeser has a high hockey IQ. Plus, Forsberg is not exactly a very high bar or anything...people act like we think he's Matthews or something. Forsberg's career high is just 64pts...

Its a very good comparison I also agree with and would be very happy with.

Some of our fans just get to excited and come to the main board and brag, you would almost think its a troll the way opposing fans then come back with overrated or other comments as if they took the bait.

I think almost all our fans beside the few on the main board that get over excited and come post when our prospects do anything would be thrilled with filip forsberg comparisons.

With that said you never know, he could turn out to be better (or worse), but forsberg is a hell of a player already.

He just led the league in goal scoring over a calendar month, and had his two worst games of the year in there too.

We also need to hope he can keep this up, this is a very high scoring pace him and barzal are on, they are likely to not keep this up. It was an excellent month, but lets remember it was just a month and he is a rookie about to endure an nhl grind, and unlike barzal our travel schedule is not friendly over a year.

Regardless he is showing he can produce extremely well at the nhl level right now.

I said I. I as in i. Never said that it was an actual fact. Is it you or i that have reading comprehension problems? You seems awfully sensitive. Or are you just trying to pull things to your advantage now? I have read the thread from time to time, not every single page though. Seen you a lot of times. Is there something wrong with that? You're daft if you expect every single poster to do that.

There's nothing to discuss here.

take the L and move on, son

I watch Calgary beat him regularily.

Boeser is 1-1 against the flames, a goal in the loss and an assist in the win, as well as 2 preseason game wins, while not the best indicator he got a goal in both games.

Not sure where you got the idea that the Flames beat Boeser regularly... he's 1-1 regular season, 3-1 lifetime, PPG with 3 goals.
