Again Podz just casually gets around Broberg
I think it’s obvious that something is hampering Broberg. Guy is known to be great on his skates. It wouldn’t be like him to get beat this often unless something was bothering him.He has struggled with him all game so far.
The actual game or the GMG game from Buffalo in 2011?36 million Russians watched last years WJC Gold medal game.
Do you have balls?OMH Holtz get up. That’s not being hard to play against.
I just feel like the World Juniors just ain't his tournament. It’s unfortunate he’s hurt, I wanted to see Broberg at his best this tournament.
Wouldn't a Russia win almost assuredly lock the Czechs in as the 4th seed? Even if the Swedes lose to the Americans and Russians they would have the tie breaker over the Czechs. If Russia wins tonight...
I'll be rooting for the U.S. tomorrow night because, assuming Canada beats Finland, we'd face the Czechs in the quarters and then Finland/Sweden in the Semis. I think that's the easier path.

Assuming the Czechs beat Austria, yes.Wouldn't a Russia win almost assuredly lock the Czechs in as the 4th seed? Even if the Swedes lose to the Americans and Russians they would have the tie breaker over the Czechs.

Luckily we will get to see these two battle it out soon enough at the NHL levelI just feel like the World Juniors just ain't his tournament.
I'm of the opinion that it should be held in Europe much more often36 million Russians watched last years WJC Gold medal game.
It’s so funny when some Americans (not all) try to call this meaningless and no one outside of Canada cares. I don’t think some realize truly how popular this is in the hockey world writ large.
This tournament is massive in several European countries.
Injury against AustriaWhy is Chinakhov out?
I’m not one of those dismissive Americans. I know going back years now this tournament is huge in other countries besides Canada. When Finland win gold beating Sweden in Sweden, didn’t pretty much all of Finland shut down? Also, I am also a soccer fan so it makes me roll my eyes when Americans think soccer is stupid and not realize it’s THE global sport.36 million Russians watched last years WJC Gold medal game.

His source in Sweden disagrees. He had a great first game.
