I actually had a bet where I predicted all of the outcomes correct today, yes even Latvia winning Canada. :)

But the Rus - Cze game was refunded because there is technically no Russia... Still won money but not as much as I'd should have. :(

Because Taylor looked worse than Shostak in every single exhibition game? But yeah, the young goalie crapped the bed. Pointing to his defenseman after the first goal looking to deflect the blame for someone was not a good look and it got worse real quick.

That said, I do agree agree hat Zakharov is a terrible coach (and a person).
 
Latvija !!! Latvija !!! Latvija!!! Of course when Latvia beats Canada for the first time, no fans are allowed in tha arena. I remember very well what was the atmosphere in Riga back in 2006. I think this time Riga would have faced a minor earthquake, if the fans would have allowed to the arena.

Alright I googled it.. I dying to meet this guy! He's been everywhere and might have one of the most eclectic careers in hockey history! Born in the UK.. came to Canada when he was 2.. CHL growing up... played in NHL... drafted by LA... AHL in Bellevelle, ECHL and then about every country.. Croatia is even on the list. I love this guy. If he goes to a pub, let me know which one! Sweden, Belarus, Croatia, Czech league, Russia, Belleville... his passport is the stuff of legend.
