Straw man arguments are the worst hill to die on.“Other GMs are bad so it’s okay if ours is bad too” isn’t a good hill to die on.

Is this on Twitter or something?
I wanted them fired because they’re shit at their jobs. When you’re bad at your job you tend to lose it.You can not be fine with it, and still think about it logically.
You wanted every scout fired as soon as we got a new GM with no understanding of contracts or anyways.
That's like screaming the sky over nothing.
Right so you saw the guy started insulting me from his first and after taking it for about a half dozen messages I finally used the term homer and now im just being a dick back cause apparently this is just a hostile forum, cool.
Actually my whole point of starting this was to call out that people are speculating a dozen reasons for Lars leaving but the Simp patrol only sounds the alarm and three people call you an idiot if you even dare say it may have been management.
Tell that to everyone who’s hit me with “if the Oilers won the Cup he’d still complain”Straw man arguments are the worst hill to die on.
Can you elaborate? Would playing with McCloud/whoever our 4th line C is kickstart Puljujarvi’s production more than playing with McDavid somehow? I don’t get it.
or do you mean he would stay with McDavid but not play the puck retrieval/hound role that he did last year?
Me disagreeing with you is not an insult…Right so you saw the guy started insulting me from his first and after taking it for about a half dozen messages I finally used the term homer and now im just being a dick back cause apparently this is just a hostile forum, cool.

Oilers' potential long-term deal with Zach Hyman not pretty, but necessary
Spector is saying 7-year, $5.5 million AAV. Or if the Oilers do a sign-and-trade, Hyman will get close to the RNH contract.
Fack.
Hall couldn't help Buffalo out of a tire fire that's been going on for what 10 years now? Boston added secondary scoring that they've needed for awhile. You call them fails, on who's part? Team success is not individual success as stated many times before. So starting from the end of last season.
Buffalo signed Hall and he played awful, the team sucked and was a huge disappointment- FAIL
Boston gave up assets for Hall and didn’t make it any further than they would have without him and didn’t make it as far as they did the previous year - FAIL
The Oilers didn’t sign Hall, didn’t trade for him at the deadline and were a much improved team in the regular season and made the playoffs which they failed to do the previous season. - PROGRESS
But keep on trying to insist this outburst by you today has nothing to do with how massively you have been personally invested in the idea of Hall coming back to Edmonton. Riiiight.
Me disagreeing with you is not an insult…
but yet you continue to call everyone who doesn’t agree with you a simp.
I’m not the one resorting to childish name calling. You just can’t handle anyone disagreeing with you.
Holland’s made tons of mistakes as GM in his term. A player being a UFA and choosing to sign elsewhere doesn’t register as one to me. Sorry that you’re so emotionally damaged by me having that opinion that you need to call me a homer, fanboy, simp and other insults.
The false equivalency is comparing dating a girl to GMing of a hockey team. Funny jokes though, but completely irrelevant. For me in particular, sure it's a false equivalency - I'm hideous and I smell worse than I look (call me, Margot!). So let's change our protagonist to someone more realistic in this scenario - say... Ryan Gosling (he's popular with the kids these days, right?). All else being equal, would Ryan have "failed" if Ms. Robbie chose not to accept his advances?
Hopefully not too much. He’s a very effective forechecker. Hopefully if Hyman signs he can help JP become even better at it.It's pretty obvious JP was tasked to forecheck hard. With Hyman on his line doing that, he could change his focus abit
Nope, only said it after you were rude a half dozen times asked you to stop and on and on..Me disagreeing with you is not an insult…
but yet you continue to call everyone who doesn’t agree with you a simp.
i think she will. the smoke is helping us out lolLet's hope Mrs. Hyman hates the city.

f***.
It does take two to tango. You are right. Still, that does not mean that Holland cannot and should not be judged for an inability to bring in or retain players we need. Negotiations and deals are made all the time in business, and in building a team. I am not willing to look past failed attempts like this in my judgement of Holland, you are and that's fine.Challenging your take on the Hall situation is not being a Holland apologist. I am waayyyyyy over on the side of a non-Holland fan. But I also recognize that it takes two to tango in negotiations at the best of times, and in UFA negotiations one side - with rare exceptions - holds ALL the power...
These media guys have no pride. That's some embarrassing apologizing for a consistently failing frachise.
