Teams are holding fast on Stone, unless someone blinks I don't think he gets moved until Monday. Sens want way too much for him

I think the Jet's should have picked up Duchene -- he went for a very reasonable price, and the Jets could have bettered that. We also needed a center -- I don't know why they didn't close on Duchene ? I guess it's because they feel they could resign Stone to a contract, as he's from Winnipeg.

Can't remember who said it or where it was said, but Simmonds has a lower 5v5 P/60 than every single one of our forwards. He may have been an upgrade in past years, but he's not the Simmonds we once knew. Would have loved to have had him 3 years ago.

Also, even if he would upgrade the 4th line, that would be a very expensive upgrade. There are likely cheaper options to upgrade the 4th line.
Thanks was me, on the main board. Every forward including Petan has a higher point production rate than Simmonds at 5v5.

Thanks, I had a hunch it was you but didn't have the time to find exactly which thread you had said it in.

Do you think that Staal will hit the market?

I am not sure about that. I guess if he wants to move but I have the feeling since no one is talking about him he doesn't want to go.

I am not against the Jets getting Simmonds, I think they always liked him and I think at the right price he would be really good in the playoffs for us. A guy I would like to get is Zucker, he is available

I can only assume that Even though they weren’t sold on him in July, Little has impressed enough this year and especially of late that they are confident in him. Depending on what happens in the next 2 days of course. Could completely prove me wrong.

Have you watched him all year he looks like a peewee player trying to play junior. He tries hard but is real bad on his ass all the time little skill etc .
Honestly, there is so much inaccuracy here...

Columbus will somehow get both Stone and Hayes, Kekalainen will give up all picks for the next 4 years, his first born and naming rights to his second born.

Kekalainen will lose his job, after Tampa beats them in the 1st round, and then they will soon become a bottom feeder, when all their UFA's hit the road for "greener pastures." in July/2019.

Zucc for a 2nd and 3rd?? What the heck... Why wasn't this done already Chevy?

Unless it's an impact top 6 F or a depth C I don't see the point. Zucc isn't either so it would be an overpayment for the Jets.
