Tournament has been great, hockey players in particular have a lot of pride in wearing their home country's jersey so it shouldn't be surprising that they're going all out. I was skeptical of this tournament thinking it would be a severely watered down Olympics but the players are really invested as if it was a Cup finals, been a fun watch.

Detroit wanted Kostin and took on and bought out Yamamoto to get Klim. We would've gotten something of value for Kostin had we not had to throw Yamamoto into the deal to shed cap.

Yamo did score 20 here, that's filling a role I'd say. Neither player has done anything since leaving, and Yamo scored 20 when he was making just over a million.

Neither player ended up being worth their contract once they got raises.

Like Corey Perry in the same role as Kostin is LIGHTYEARS better and team is MUCH better for it.
