I don't think we wasted any time on Lindholm. He just wasn't a need. Andersson is very much a need. I don't see why Calgary wouldn't make a deal with us. The Canucks are a rival too and they traded with them

Maybe you're right. When the time comes to trade, make an offer. Have a plan B and don't let Calgary let it drag on

I’m not the only one saying Chaulk is not the right coach. Bruce Curlock says he’s not the right fit.

You may be right about Wanner.. but is he that bad that Josh friggin Brown is playing the 2nd pair over him?

Well Bob was having boners about him leading up the TDL. And we did end up going and getting a Center. So if we sent any scout to a calgary game either for him or Tanev, I’d consider it a waste of time.

Vans kind of a rival like they are to us. But the BoA runs deeper.

I wouldn’t even give them the satisfaction of a lowball offer.

Oh, by the way it’s pretty much confirmed that the offersheets came as a blindside to them.
 
Pracey was a big fan of Podz at the draft. Would have taken him at the 11, if Van didn’t take him at 10. JJ says Praceys assessment of Podz was bang on and he had a good insight to the player .

We had extensive reports on J Skinner. Talked to coaches in Buffalo. Knows his habits on and off ice. JJ sees him getting better recently, winning puck battles, unique skill set under the goal line. Hopeful he will start scoring more towards his career numbers.

Not really mocking your English either. Only adding some humor to what you were suggesting we'd be saying.

On topic, I don't think that anyone has high expectations for Kapanen. He's a fourth liner or 13F on a healthy roster. He knows the PK we run and he's looked good on it early on. At best he pushes Perry or Ryan to part-time. And I don't think that anyone would complain.

JJ and Dave Gagner (Bouchs agent) have a long relationship going back. Bowman and Dave have good relationship too.

JJ confident that Connor will stay. Good relationship with Judd (McDs new agent). Loves the team, loves the fanbase. As long as we are winning, cause all connor cares about is winning.

Stauffers words of wisdom today are the Oilers #1 goal is to acquire a 2nd pair Dman and he said it’s pretty telling that Jeff Jackson said they have to ice the best team possible and do their job as management

Most people seem to want him gone for talking points that aren't even true.

Yeah, Wanner has been pretty bad this year. Looks like a completely different player. Brown has been a better player by quite a bit and that's not really because of he's been all that good or anything.
