I did that 2 weeks ago. It's been nice and peaceful since .duul's gotten a long overdue ignore and I don't plan to change that anytime soon, as you were. Absolutely no time for apologists for the likes of DeAngelo.

I don’t see his posts neither but I sense we are arguing from the same side on this Kostin discussion.I did that 2 weeks ago. It's been nice and peaceful since .
Im not sold on the Sens, they took a step back with the loss of Debrincat.Boston should do a quick retool on the fly. Pasta and McAvoy should each have a lot of good years left in them. Boston has no issue attracting free agent talent.
I agree with Sabres and Blues, I'd say Sens over Isles though. Isles are interesting. Elite goaltending, strong defense, but thats a scary-bad offense. Horvat&Barzal are dangerous up front, but is that even a top 10 duo in the league? They'll be relying on a lot of 2-1 wins to make it.
You have to be kidding with that comparison...
With Norris back and Kubalik, I think their offense will improve. If Chychrun could stay healthy, and Sanderson takes a step forward, it could be a strong D as well.Im not sold on the Sens, they took a step back with the loss of Debrincat.
I agree partially with your isles take but i think a Barzel bounce back will help their offence. They do need to take a swing at Tarasenko to solidify their top 6 and drop one of their 5 mill third line guys
Agreed 100%I think they miss the playoffs. Losing Bergeron, Krejki and Hall while replacing them with nothing won’t help them much.
Good points and agreedBriuns will crumble for sure they really are on the edge of a rebuild
I also believe WPG will wash out and be major sellers at the TDL
same with Washington, I'm sure they were trying to hold it together for OVI but they are over due
On the Flip side i think we see a rise from NYI, Buff and St.L
Huh? McLeod is still young and had a breakout year. He’s going to be even better this season. I’m so glad you aren’t coach or GM. Your thinking worse than that old fart named Sutter
On average a player with his type of usage and level of production, he's worth about $1.5m on a one or two year term. Factor him leaving a few hundred thousand on the table last summer and you can't really fault him for going for the extra money this time around. Both players are pretty mediocre as whole. Kostin was never going to be worth $2M and hes no longer Oilers' property so moot.
McLeod's problem is that last year, he just didn't really elevate himself to justify 'more money', Give last week's? GYB a listen and Struds and Rishaug make valid points/criticisms about McLeod's game. I get he got short end of stick last year with no arb rights but that's business. Compounding things is that Oilers are cap strapped as is.
Way to show your lack of maturity with how you post. It's also "you're" btw
He just didn't see it.It was limited minutes, but I thought Clouder was our best C matched up against Eichel in round 2. Woody didn’t see it that way, and thought Drai was the best matchup. Didn’t turn out too well.
17:39 minutes. GF 0 GA 1 but everything else was a big plus. HDCF 7 HDCA 1 (though Vegas scored on that one HDCF) xGF% 78.02% SCF 14 SCA 5.It was limited minutes, but I thought Clouder was our best C matched up against Eichel in round 2. It’s an unenviable position for McLeod since he did the team a solid last off season but as you mentioned, he’s gotta be aware of the realities of the flat cap world where good players are ending up without a spot because of their cap hit. He’s putting a lot of pressure on himself by asking for 2+ in my opinion. He’s gotta make sure he’s without a doubt worth his cap hit.On average a player with his type of usage and level of production, he's worth about $1.5m on a one or two year term. Using the comparables, he's probably a $1.8m low end, $2.5m high end. And I've said my piece about this type of contract for a player that hasn't locked down a role. It could be their undoing if the game falls off. As such it wouldn't surprise me to see Kostin hit waivers at some point.
I said in a post last week that I hope Ryan Mc gets paid this year for his generosity last year. I also hope that GMKH doesn’t do something stupid. He’s worth approx 1.3, last year was probably 2-3 hun low, so give him 1.75 this year and hope he outshines that. It’s an unenviable position for McLeod since he did the team a solid last off season but as you mentioned, he’s gotta be aware of the realities of the flat cap world where good players are ending up without a spot because of their cap hit. If I was him I’d take a 1yr at 1.5-1.75 and wait to negotiate a multi year when the cap is rising and you’re one year closer to ufa.
Honestly, give me Bouchard for the next ten years. Karlsson has a year or two before you start hating that contract, even at half.San Jose can have Bouchard and foegele for 50 percent retained Karlsson.

Guy's a rover.
Karlsson's legs will give out in his late 30s.Karlsson doesn't play a physical game
He will look better at 40 that kieth did
Lol show me a post of anyone wanting ty Smith? I recall everyone being afraid hed be taken. It is interesting. Even as few as two years ago many were crapping on the choice of Bouchard even over Ty Smith. Here we are 2 years later and Smith gets a league minimum contract.
I'll stick with BouchardSan Jose can have Bouchard and foegele for 50 percent retained Karlsson.

Might not be best player in the draft but defo looks to be the best player available at 10Bouchard was the best prospect in his draft... said so then (and all along since then) and still say so now.
I remember wanting Ty Smith because I assumed both Dobson and Bouchard would be gone by our pick. I remember being ecstatic and shocked that both were there for the taking. Phoenix took somebody stupid if I recall and it changed everything.Lol show me a post of anyone wanting ty Smith? I recall everyone being afraid hed be taken.
