What's weird to me is hes an RFA thats currently unsigned. So the flames are kind of at his mercy.

Based on the return he got (2 1sts and a 2nd) thats in the 9.5 - 11.9 range. Its interesting because they gave up 2 later first rounders so they probably pulled the trigger.

So are they going to give Nemec like 8 or 9M long term?

NJ has lots of cap space so they would have easily matched that. Plus Nemec wouldn't have signed it.

There were reports last week (no idea how credible) saying Nemec was asking the Devils for $10M/season.

I was listening to Stauffer on the panel today and he said he sees Walman playing over 20 minutes a night. If that's true, I don't know where Nurse fits.

He also said that, if he were the Oilers, he'd move a pick or two to acquire a young goaltender who may not be waiver exempt anymore and then spoke about forward additions. He said it will be intriguing.

Goalie wise, I think he is talking about Cossa, Levi, Dipietro.
