Nurse wasn't going to waive for Chicago, so Chicago went to their more expensive option.

Maybe not now but he might have expanded his list to them eventually. I guess one can say that Byram being off the board now thinned out the Dman supply for buyers but Byram was getting traded anyway so I don't think this affects the Nurse market.

I don't think this does anything for Nurse's value tbh. If anything it took a potential Nurse suitor off the market.

Well according to current reports Nurse wants to go out east and Chicago wasn't on his list of teams, so while they might of been interested in Nurse, Nurse apparently wasn't interested in them.

I don't really think Nurse's value has been effected positively or negatively by this trade, but I do think Byram was a coveted piece that some of the teams looking at Nurse were also interested in, so he was a domino that kind of needed to fall first for us to proceed further with a Nurse trade.

He would be wise to go to SJ. Chicago looks like a mess to me, but the Sharks will be competing very soon. They are one of few teams I feel he could be a major asset to.
