You've got Murphy back and you know that's a partner that works with him, you're also not dying for cap space. I think this is going to be a NY Jets and Ryan Fitzpatrick moment, where both the team and the player decided to move on at the start of the offseason, but neither finds a good fit and they have to come crawling back to eachother a month later.

I'm fine if Nurse comes back tbh. I think he has a better year if hes beside Murphy or demoted to 3LD beside Emberson, and I dont have faith in Stan to find a better Dman on the market. I also want Walman to come in motivated to take a top 4 spot with his new deal.

I also dont have faith in Bowman to use the freed up cap wisely. Tuch is the only interesting FA fwd, and I dont think hes the fit we need tbh.

They absolutely need another difference maker. What does replacing Kapanen with Mikheyev do for us? f*** all at best, and at worst its a mangiapane scenario if he doesnt fit.
