In the same vein, Florida couldn’t even make the playoffs…Oilers are not beating the panthers. They can't even beat the Ducks lol.

You can dislike him, but they have one of the most stacked teams I've seen in the cap era lolBecause a crybaby ran away to his sister?
They pretty much have exactly enough cap space to fit Jarry in. It’s almost like destiny.I’ll be generous and give them Jarry.
That’s a great pointI can see teams in the East wanting to get bigger now. Nurse’s value just went up
Yup. The arms race in the East has officially begun.I can see teams in the East wanting to get bigger now. Nurse’s value just went up
Carolina does not belong, their only big get in recent memory was Ehlers and Rantanen (who wasn't willing to extend with them) and Marner blocked a trade to them, that is a franchise that is nibbling around the edges playing moneypuck, a series of small smart decisions in the name of driving puck possession and trying to translate that into goal differential.Same teams as always adding the top players. Florida, Carolina, Dallas, Vegas, Tampa, Colorado. Yawn
Really? I think he's better than or as good as Matthew.FWIW I do think Brady Tkachuk is one of the leagues more overrated players on name brand value. He's way more Dustin Penner than he is Jarome Iginla.
Still super frustrating to watch our rivals consistently bring in real talent while we sit on our hands signing 20 point players to 5 year contracts.
And didnt win shitThey'll get it done. Same way Vegas added Andersson to shore up the blue line.
Buddy that was when our team was f***ing injured and when Knoblauch was coach.Oilers are not beating the panthers. They can't even beat the Ducks lol.

Edit:
Sorry if he can't bring f***ing cowards like Tkachuk to this team.Stan putting together his dream team, lol.
You don't watch hockey. Plain and simple.1) Dickinson isn't a good 3C
2) There are actual other options out there in that market, as opposed to playable RHD where there is nobody.
Alex Tuch’s wife is a western Canadian gal….We need to find a way to make our team better. Waiting for the deadline while only re signing Murphy and Dickenson and promoting Howard ain't going to cut it.
Yes FLA is a destination, but that said it has been some awesome management work by them.
IMO we need to try to make a bold trade or signing... You have to try to keep up.
I don't think they are rebuilding, they made the playoffs 2 seasons in a row in a tough division, they were just stuck with disgruntled American who wanted out to play in the USI guess if Ottawa is basically rebuilding would they be up for like Jarry + futures for Ullmark?
They have $7m in cap space with no goalie signed and about $80m of it is locked up with a NMC.If they add a goalie, look out.

Then stop watching. Why are you even on this board if you've given up? Get lost.Nope lol unless you want to watch Dickinson, Murphy, and Jarry lol.
You're giving up because of f***ing Brady Tkachuk? My goodnessI don't see it, but I will enjoy the period of time he has left here.
Our management is playing tick tack toe, these are groups are playing chess, we can't compete with that, two players can't win a Cup no matter how good they are, hockey ain't that sport.
I will actually not take next season for granted because I don't think there's much time left with a player of this caliber, I will be getting seats behind the Oilers bench for next season at some point, something I've always wanted to do but never got around to.
Got to enjoy it while it lasts, but I don't think we're seriously competing for a Cup in the same way these other teams are. Murphy and Dickinson ... like c'mon. That ain't getting it done.
