Youre better off retaining 2 mill and getting someone of value than adding a #6 dman at 4.5m for 3 years
Would we really be better off?
We would have Ekholm, Walman, Graves at LD. It would be much easier to bury or trade Graves down the road.

Would you retain 2.5M on Nurse and swap him for Mctavish?

It's not like we have 15 teams to talk to. Bowman isn't very bright either.

Factoring that in, I think there is a decent chance they just take Graves for Nurse. Maybe they can get Pittsburgh to retain a bit on Graves (500k?).

I don't think Nurse even at 2 mill retained is going to get some attractive asset either.

The injuries are a concern for Walman. Will he be able to stay healthy? I also question his fitness. Could be related to coming back from injury but he is gassed half the time to the point of being a liability. Team also often only gave him 17minutes a night.
Walman won't put up huge points, as he isn't fed any PP minutes. However even last season he showed he generates 5v5 offense better than most D men, which is what we paid for.
Walman needs to answer the bell if we move Nurse, provide reliable second pairing minutes.

I'm actually comfortable with Stastney on the third pairing. His skating is elite, and he is a smart puck mover. I think he and Emberson would be fine in the bottom pair.
My only worry is if there are any injuries. I dont even know if we have anyone on the condors able to step up and in?

Nurse at 7m would absolutely get a decent asset back based on reports out there

I more so mean we are focusing too much on how much we all dislike Gregor at the expense of that is he actually right on Babcock IMO.

Turning on was the wrong choice of words.
Is he right? Or does he just align with your opinion?

He's been droning on and on about how the Knob situation was handled. Its big business. Grow some balls. People get fired in all different ways.
