Makar is probably as untouchable as Mcdavid but I would give everything outside of McDrai to get him.Fuch. I want...
Vasilevski
Makar
Rantanen
Even willing to give up Savoi at this point

No but it probably frees up MrazekWonder if CHI tries to flip Knight?
Id have time for him.
Maybe at 50% retained. No thanks even then.No but it probably frees up Mrazek
Yeah, his Edge stats are brutal.Maybe at 50% retained. No thanks even then.
Klingberg isn’t a top 4 lolWe just signed Klingberg. Doubtful.
Neither is Jokiharju. If he was, Buffalo wouldn't be looking to trade him.Klingberg isn’t a top 4 lol
I’m aware. Jones’ contract was not a good one and Holland allowed Nurse to use that as a comparable.A little over 7 million. For like the same length of the nurse contract.
That’s all it took?
You forgot about Stu’s playoff pedigree…Hahaha no way we are beating Florida now. Holy **** is this organization terrible.
I keep hearing from the Oilers talking heads that Getting a team to retain that much is very difficult…for a lesser termThat's a lot of dead cap for Chicago. Florida basically paying Chicago to retain that money and getting him at 7M. Good deal for the Panthers.
Chicago retaining 2.5 mill for 5 yearsDoes Florida have the cap room because Tkachuk is gone until the playoffs?
Incredible deal for them, especially the cap management. Must be nice to have a good management group.Knight was costing them $4.5M, so only a $2.5M increase to take Jones at 75%.
So we are moving him?
Kane's NMC turned to a 16 team NTC today and he had to submit that 16 team list.I don't totally get this. It sounds like they confirmed Kane will be out till playoffs. Why not keep him. He's like a free asset in that case. The only way this makes sense to me is if they don't think he'll play at all, or it's a scare tactic to get him to play ball.

That still doesn't make a ton of sense to me because he'd be a free asset and the sort of piece the Oilers need right now. I suspect McDNicks is right.Or they know they have to move him regardless because of next year and figure it would be better to do it now if they can.
