If we were to move Ceci for Carrier it becomes even easier.

There is no daily cap restriction. Cap accrues daily. If our AAV is over the cap briefly we're totally fine as long as we drop our accrual rate.

Many of us have been saying this. I don't mind patience this year for Broberg, there will likely be a spot for him to take next season. But Holloway, I love the kid, but if you can get a player to push this team over the top, move him.
Foegele, Ceci, Kulak even Vinny might not be Oilers.
Brogberg, Holloway, Lavoie could be full time Oilers next season.

One upside to having Stecher is he is a right shot so you can always play him on the wing instead of Brown because Stecher can actually score a goal.

Yes, could use it on Browns bonus. That would be relatively cap inefficient though in my mind.
I think you'd prefer to have the flexibility of having Holloway and Gagner back with the team instead, tbh.
Bonuses are applied to current year first, and the remainder gets added to next years cap.
