True, but Seravalli has been saying for a while now that they're dumping Barrie on Calgary pretty soon now- the Hanifin trade was the precursor. Would they move our a second defenceman? I would love to see it, but I'm doubtful.

EDIT: Didn't factor in that Barrie has been scratched all this time, so maybe he doesn't clear a roster spot for Stastney.

Beauvillier is a tryout for them. Spend a nothing pick to try a guy out for a few months who has had a rough season, see if he is worth signing.

Barrie hasn't played in months, I really don't see how that would impact them.

Our weakness is not up front it is Cody ceci playing 20+ minutes a night top pairing in playoff hockey.
