Picks makes sense, given the opposition, and how heavy our schedule is for the rest of the year. Need Skinner fresh for playoffs, plus Picks has been playing really well anyhow.Pickard hey

Not the lines I would have gone for, but Knoblauch has the team playing at a high level, so if it's a test to see how things go or he think it could be a good long term fit, I'm game. How's Brown going to score from the PB?
Henrique was always going to be in the top 6, anyone who thought Janmark was going to stay in the top 6 forever was smoking crack.
Foegele absolutely does not have to be move with Holloway in Bako. Just takes a bit of creativity.
Eberle isn't terribly expensive and a team, like Buffalo, not making the playoffs getting a free asset for cap that means nothing, seems like a no brainer. Thanks for the clarification on what you meant. You could be right for certain, we could always utilize next years picks for double retention. There are certainly ways to accomplish this, we just need to be willing to "pay the price".
Yep, that would have made the most sense but lines are fluid and there's tons of versatile guys in the lineup so I'm sure we'll see plenty of different combos.RNH - McDavid - Hyan
McLeod - Draisaitl - Kane
Foegele - Henrique - Perry
Janmark is obviously a huge hole in a scoring role but there are multiple ways to build the lineup that has Mattias where he belongs and Henrique at 3C. Even if we don't add anyone else.
Kulak - Ceci is what I imagine a cup winning 3rd pair looks like. Maybe not quite that expensive, but if you can manage to ice that and have someone more capable above, that's real depth.
IMO this allows for a lot of flexibility and adjusting lines to combat opposition strength.RNH - McDavid - Hyan
McLeod - Draisaitl - Kane
Foegele - Henrique - Perry

McLeod and Henrique switch and it’s perfect for meHmmm, that is interesting to say the least. Most, including myself, thought Henrique would slide into #3 C spot, as McLeod hasn't been great there. But apparently we are loading up the top-6 instead.
I like that 4th line, especially once it’s Holloway instead of Ryan, as it will certainly be for the playoffs.
Oh yeah, I think VD in top 4 is really sus, lol.Correct, but the problem is (unfortunately) higher up in the lineup with the Nurse/VD pairing. VD in the top 4 is ...... not good.

Seems obvious McDrai will happen in the postseason when we need goals.
Does your friend drive a taxi in Saskatchewan? My friend texted me "I don't understand the Henrique trade" then I texted back "What don't you understand?" then he said "Why trade for him and then send him packing?". Then hasn't gotten back to me.
Am I missing something?
RNH - McDavid - Hyman
McLeod - Draisaitl - Kane
Foegele - Henrique - Perry

I'm thinking more along the lines on acquiring a player that you know will be healthy by playoffs.Didn’t Toronto pull this with Horton at one the deadlines? I’m sure you are right, though
If we believe the Eberle rumors (and also that Kane and Drai don't like to play together) I would breakup that top line and run:
Kane - McDavid - Hyman
RNH - Draisaitl - Eberle
McLeod - Henrique - Foegele
Holloway - Carrick - Perry
Keep McDavid and Hyman together. Keep McLeod and Foegele together. Drai gets his shooter and playmaker. That 4th line would be menacing.
huh? Tofolli has 26 goals in 61 games this yearI would look at Ebs before Tofolli he hasn’t been good since he left the flames. Meanwhile Eberle has been consistent in the reg season and playoffs since he left
100% agreeI actually like that exact lineup better with RNH and Kane flipped, tbh.
Just more balanced.
