Nope. It's a hell of a lot more fun when they now get to suffer their own DOD. The amount of shit they heaped onto the Oilers during the DOD makes me enjoy the shit of the beginning of their slide from mediocrity into being truly horrible.

Adding on to that a crap GM that actively helps other Pacific division teams and well EAT SHIT FLAMES.
EXACTLY

I am not with this line of thinking like Stauff always says

CGY can F*** right off for at least 10 years. I want them to suffer a double DOD and I will gleefully love it

Some of you are never willing to place any blame onto management for it's own inactivity.

A significant Ceci upgrade is a bit ambitious sure but I don't think demanding a 2RW is ridiculous or unrealistic at all. There were/are plenty available. Some have even moved for relatively little.
This is nonsense straw man argument. Saying someone has unrealistic expectations does not equate to not criticizing management.. how did u even come to that conclusion? No one is adding that many players at the deadline.

Why are you pretentious 😂

More importantly, I’d love to add Eberle
Dude, it’s not being pretentious (it actually has nothing to do with being pretentious) it makes you sound childish and takes away from what you post. It’s the same as if someone who quotes you in a reply says “I don’t agree dickhead above”.

My advice to you is use their names. Makes you sound more adult and validates your posts more.

We'd get shut down hard for that. lol (I think there's actually a rule against acquiring an LTIR player for this purpose. wasn't this shut down once before somewhere?)
Didn’t Toronto pull this with Horton at one the deadlines? I’m sure you are right, though

The new lines don't make sense to me.
I know that Henrique can play 2nd line LW but the need for 3C is bigger so essentially they're putting Kane on his off wing, McLeod at center where he's not as effective and Henrique on LW where the Oilers already have strength. Just odd all around. At least McDavid and Draisaitl are separated.

Meanwhile they're paying their extra forward over $3m next season. Oof
Holloway likely getting sent down, as expected. I think he should be trade bait since they're incapable of developing young talent.

Hmmm, that is interesting to say the least. Most, including myself, thought Henrique would slide into #3 C spot, as McLeod hasn't been great there. But apparently we are loading up the top-6 instead.

I like that 4th line, especially once its Holloway instead of Ryan, as it will certainly be for the playoffs.

No one is adding 2-3 players? Well that's just factually incorrect.

You're the one who decided to call out other posters for 'having unrealistic expectations.' All I did was point out why I don't feel that's the case.

Yeah I think its weird as well, and I doubt it lasts. RNH-McD-Hyman is a great top line, so no notes there. The middle 6 needs work though. Kane-Drai-McLeod and Foeg-Henrique-Perry is a much better setup IMO, with people in their more natural positions. Slightly less scoring pop on the 2nd line, but better scoring on 3rd line and allows McLeod to play where he can provide the most.
