Sounds like I'm in the minority here but I'm not terrified of Vegas..

Mantha is a significant downgrade from Stone through the rest of the season and Vegas isn't going to see a big improvement until playoffs. The way Edmonton and LA are playing they're trending as a wildcard team and could easily end up playing a team like Dallas in the 1st round and a Colorado/Winnipeg in the 2nd round.
I am happy they did not land bigger fish! I am with you!!!

We knew something was happening. they weren't going to stand pat.
I think the two they got are a win for us!

I'm curious though. If that's all that we do, does it not benefit us next year to still ride a shorter roster out for the rest of the season? (Brown's Bonus).

It does if you are thinking ahead. I don’t think the organization is thinking ahead with Brown though.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they play 7D after the deadline and send Holloway to Bakersfield and run 13F. Because unfortunately, they are probably going to play Brown/Ryan over him and they want him playing. Its the easy thing to do.

Hate to say this but I wouldn't be surprised if Vegas gets Guentzel as well.
Nope they are out on him

RNH - McDavid - Hyman
McLeod - Drai - Guentzel
Kane - Henrique - Brown
Janmark - Ryan - Carrick

Nurse - Zub
Ekholm - Bouch
Kulak - VD

Get it done Kenny.
I do not know how many more times to say this, but Mcdavid, Drai, Knob have expressed interest in the two playing together so it will start with them not being split up

So does Staios help out his old team, or does he have hatd feelings for how his short lived management role lasted?

Churchyn would be massive IMO amd would probably be the tipping point for us moving forward this season

Could he pull off church amd buch???? Maybe asking a bit much......

Kinda scary to think both the avs amd vegas still some how have there 1sts after the deals yesterday

But on a bright note there is a possibility vegas misses the playoffs all together and the hole league can rejoice 🤣🤣

Just the overview.

Not sure who’s even available that Colorado and Vegas could use a first on besides Guentzel and Buchnevich. But they are upto something. Looks like Carolina will get Guentzel. I wouldn’t be surprised if Vegas gets Buch.

Probably going to see a couple trades out of nowhere from guys we didn’t expect.

Staios should trade Chychrun to whoever pays most. Simple as that.

Avoid the stupidity that another rookie Canadian GM has been doing.

Vegas is going to add Crosby

Mantha would be interesting as depth piece but as a Stone replacement? Nope.

Hanifin, we’ve seen firsthand what he is and to be honest I’ve never been overly impressed. He’s soft and an average defender at best.

I gotta say, Colorado did some real nice work yesterday (as usual). At first I was a bit miffed about them trading Byram but it makes sense as he was redundant on that roster, has a scary injury history and they traded for Walker where they needed help on the right side so they essentially swap out Byram for Walker and add Mittlestadt while also dumping the RyJo contract. Elite management over there and they're probably not even done yet. They're the most dangerous team in the west IMO.

The team that I'm surprised is doing nothing is the Kings.
The Jets, Canucks, Knights, Oilers and Stars have all made significant moves yet the Kings are just watching everybody load up. They're usually a team that's proactive so I wonder if they're up to something.

Chychrun would be ideal for the Avs.

Chychrun-Walker
