I actually expect the Rangers to come out with energy. Montreal will certainly make a push, but if the Rangers can be the one to storm out and get something early.....

Ah, the triple OT game against the Caps. I remember watching that game until 6:45 AM and having to work at 8 AM. I went home at noon since I was dead tired.

At least it was worth it!

Not sure what to expect from the Habs. That had to be an incredibly demoralizing loss for them. If Hank didn't play out of his mind, they could have won with Tokarski in net, and would be coming back to NYC at 1-1 and with a rallying point. They could come out Thursday all YOLO, or totally flat, who knows.

If they try to be the Bruins right off the bat this series is probably over.

I was there and was living in Maryland at that point. Safe to say it was one of the most enthralling and weird experiences I ever had as a Rangers fan. Verizon Center is always super loud, but the longer the game went on, and the more people that left the more I felt the Rangers would pull it off. By the time the Gabby goal came the place was a library.

Exactly. We took 2 on the road. Now we need at least a split at home. Obviously a game 3 win would be better, but as long as we're up 3-1 after Sunday we're in good shape.

This team's TOI reports are a work of art:

- Top 4 D all getting around 22:00
- 3rd Pair getting a few minutes over 10:00
- Top 9 all more or less around 17:00
- 4th line getting 10:00

It's...it's beautiful....

No one getting 29:00, no one getting <5:00, everything is spread out completely evenly.

This made me think of Stu Bickel and how he got, what, 3 mins of ice time in a 3OT game. Damn.

...a little bit lol...the Rangers would lose 1-0 during the season and you'd blame the loss on Hank for letting in a goal, you blamed him for everything so please don't start with the accolades now as you were super annoying all year ...and I guarantee the next game they lose , you'll be all over Hank again !!

i expect the rangers to come out hard on thursday and montreal will try to weather the storm. all the rangers were talking about today was how much better montreal was in the 1st period and they cant let that happen again. crowd will be in a frenzy, i expect us to come out flying.

The Rangers could've been better last game. They should've had more shots on Tokarski. He looked completely nervous leading up to the game. You could see it in the kids eyes. His rebound control was awful. They need more shots on net. Don't try and be cute. Just get the job done.

And I don't buy into the amount of days off between games crap. This team is locked in right now with solid leadership. The rest will be good for brassard.
