Slim is the greatest nickname for Nash ever. Every time he scores from now on, I'm going to scream it. Haha…

I absolutely can not stand Doc, Pierre or Eddie. I hate listening to any of them. Is this the best NBC can do? The worst thing is you can tell they don't like the Rangers and sound depressed when we score. Doc pee's his pants at every scoring chance from an opposing team.

I want to vomit every time he says pie slice.

So am I still the only one that's bummed that it wasn't a 3-1 win against Price? Really wish we could beat them at full strength. It dampens my excitement about these wins a bit. But I'm a crazy person.

Success in the playoffs is more about luck than anyone ever wants to admit. You have to take the wins any way you can get them because they are so hard to come by even under the best of circumstances.

The Rangers have done plenty but we, the people on HF, really have no part in their accomplishment. I don't see why we have to pretend to be better than other people who similarly play no part in the accomplishments or failures of atheletes...

This. I get it, but it's not my style. I certainly can't claim these accomplishments on my resume just because I watched them from my couch and posted encouraging words.

I've got to say that Hank has turned it up to another level in the post season. Much more aggressive, better positioning and he has found his glove!! I gave him a bunch of **** during the season, but he is playing lights out when it matters most.

I love what Kreider brings to the line up. He helps Step and Nash so much with his speed. Defenders have got to be aware of where he is and that opens up the ice for them to make plays.

Lastly, Mac is back! He is playing like the stud he has been all season.

I'm equally upset that it wasn't against the 01-02 Detroit Red Wings with a half-sized net behind Hasek.

Thought Klein and Moore struggled for most of the game. Great move by AV to split those guys up and plug them in along with our big guns.

AV has been a great coach all playoffs. Complete control of his team and his bench. I don't think we will see any let down for game 3. Have to imagine the Garden will be electric for this game.

After what went down in 1997, this kind of thing will never bother me.

BTW, this year I've been a bit of Hank hater because for a while I really thought he lost it. That said, in prior years I was hard on him because I knew that stretches like he's had in these 5 games are what he's capable of. I was reading the Bruins board and someone said in regards to Subban's shots that Hank has saved "I remember when it was Krug and it got past him". Now, I get it, Krug is not a guy we game planned against and didn't really have a book on him, so it was harder. But my point was that after a monster close out to the previous series Hank wasn't at his best in the next round and didn't play that well. All of the excuses came that the team sucked. But it's not like Hank is facing 15 shots a game these 5 games. He was always capable of these performances but this is the first time we saw them in his playoff career for this long of a stretch. Really glad he's playing like he's capable.

Go Kings. Like our odds vs them a lot more.

Same. Quite frankly, I think that could be a short series. Hawks scare me, but we can beat them...and I really, really want to with all the Hawks fans acting like their team is invincible.

Fun fact: we are by far the best ES team in the playoffs.

I cannot even dare to think that far ahead. One game at a time for me.

No I agree. Say we won the series I'd feel more comfortable about our chances against CHI/LA if we were able to beat the habs with a healthy price. Plus it's annoying hearing excuse after excuse

...a little bit lol...the Rangers would lose 1-0 during the season and you'd blame the loss on Hank for letting in a goal, you blamed him for everything so please don't start with the accolades now as you were super annoying all year ...and I guarantee the next game they lose , you'll be all over Hank again !!
