Henrik of the House Lundqvist, Protector of the Realm
And Breaker of Hoodoos.
Henrik of the House Lundqvist, Protector of the Realm
- The Rangers went into Montreal, a place where they always struggle and got 2 wins.
- The broke the streak of not winning a game when having a series lead.
- They tied a season high 5 game winning streak.
- Lundqvist is quite possibly playing the best he has ever played in the playoffs.
- The powerplay is starting to click.
- Rick Nash is scoring.
This game was SO huge for this team. If this is a dream, please, nobody better wake me up...
A bit of a sloppy game. But being up 2-0 is insane. Insane.
Hank was a freak. McD was awesome. And Nash played a great game in all 3 zones. The 4th line was a factor on most shifts.
Zucc had a rough game. Pouliot was Pouliot. The D had some sloppy plays. Staal had a rough start. My biggest problem was Richards. He looked abysmal.
They need Brassard back. And Moore needs to take more shifts on the Richards line towards the end of games when up.
In the end: big win.
Even for a guy who defended the team most of the season, it's nuts to see how far they've come.
Also, we finally go up 2-0 in a series! About time we go up two games in a series.
Lirl they so mad over on the Devils boards in that playoff thread of theirs.
Everything seems to be clicking right now. Hope they can sustain it long enough. It's been a hell of a ride so far and I wouldn't give it back for the 1st rounder.
Kreider wasn't flying tonight as usual but still played a good game...see you guys Thursday....hopefully Brassard is back
