Yeah I was too quick on the draw, and ESPN I guess was wrong then corrected . . . you know, in the end good for us with just the right amount of "rest".

Tuesday's perfect as that extra day of rest for the Leafs may be more of a factor with a quick turnaround.
Also, anything to keep these playoffs from going until the end of June. The fact the second round isn't even started as of May 1st is crazy.

The Leafs better figure out how to properly support a breakout if they want any chance against the Panthers.
That being said, Florida's going to come in with a ton of momentum. Hopefully the Leafs can take advantage of the fact that they had the extra day, and start on time.

Even game 6... the Leafs were constantly shovelling the puck out or to the line, just for Tampa to regain possession because they didn't support their breakout properly.

That $2M is 100% necessary and not even a discussion imo. I believe the Sandin trade was specifically to return a 1st to be used on improving our cap.
How so?? We get two full days off while Florida only gets one.

Not comparing us to Florida, just want the extra day for injuries. O'Reilly could use it.
Adjustments will be made I'm sure and we only played 1 game with possibly our best line up. I'll be concerned if we go down 2-0 in the series but I think we'll be fine.

The path is easier no doubt.
With that being said, Florida is looking pretty good. But we just beat Cooper and Tampa

NYR worries me, Shesterkin + great finishing talent is a lethal duo come playoff time. Florida is also a solid team, I think we're going to have a lot of issues with their forecheck. It provided us problems during the regular season and it's only going to get stronger come playoff time.
But overall I'd say we're the top team in the East at this point
Thats the one goalie left who could steal games.
Carolina put in Anderson in game #7, Devils and Panthers switched mid way.
Habs faced Hellebuyck, Fluery, and Vasilevskiy
Hopefully we don't take Florida lightly. They have a relentless forecheck and play a very structured game. Hopefully Bobrovsky cools down too.
