That's really not a lot of rest for Florida. They need to fly here and analyse us too. Good for us I guess.

In another note: I think Florida is a very dangerous, strong and hard working team. Otherwise they wouldn't have won against Boston. Also CAR and NYR are good teams.

And also rode monster years from several guys they no longer have.

They’re still a team to be respected and given no openings, but the 2021-22 President’s Trophy winning Panthers were a fluke, evidenced by getting stomped by their in-state rivals. I much prefer playing them to the Bruins.

Yes, finishing 1st overall in the league last year was a fluke and eliminating the team with the most points in the history of the NHL was a fluke two flukes in a row.

Whatever the numbers say, if you beat them, you beat a good team. If you lose to them, you lost to a good team. Be ready for a good team. I'll be rooting for you to win.

I think we win this series if we stop them from turning games into up and down the ice, chance trading, barn burners

If we hang onto the puck, cycle effectively and get timely saves I think it's a great recipe for success

I'd also like to see our boys stay committed physically, the Panthers won't die wondering and they will muck it up so don't take any **** or back down

Panthers play an up and down style game unlike TB. They certainly made live miserable for Ulmark and Swayman, they could do the same to our goalies too. There will be goals but as long as the boys play discipline hockey with structure, they will beat Panthers
As of today, going into this series, Leafs got better depth, better Dcorps and better forwards.
Individually, Sammy is the better goalie, Reilly is the best Dman, AM is the best scorer, MM is the best passer and JT is the best faceoff man.

Going to be a good series but the Leafs need to dictate plays and START ON TIME.

Would prefer Florida but it doesn't really matter in the end. What would be ideal is that they best the hell out of each other tonight and it goes to triple OT.

Regardless of who the Leafs play, they MUST throw the body hard in game one. Leafs will have played one fewer game and have an extra day of rest. Asthey did against T.B, wear them down early and it wll pay dividends down the stretch.

100%. Between Tampa taking a step back this year and Boston choking, the biggest obstacles are now out of the way. The East is now the Leafs to lose.
