Based on a lot of the player analysis I’ve read from scouting reports. I doubt the thing they look for is wants to be a flyer. Seems more like they are looking for vision and iq mix with athleticism. Skills you can keep getting better at but those things seem more innate

I was reading this thread, saw Luchanko described as an "average athlete" and had to laugh. The guy was the first-ranked player in the CHL Prospects Game athletic/skills testing, and blew away the combine, as well.

Athleticism is probably his best trait.

C'mon, Alex. Jason Spezza was in the top 10 in points per minute a few years ago in Toronto, and you'd have implied that means he was better than Bergeron.

Not all minutes are equal. The more minutes you get, the more they trust you with disadvantageous minutes.
