Based on a lot of the player analysis I’ve read from scouting reports. I doubt the thing they look for is wants to be a flyer. Seems more like they are looking for vision and iq mix with athleticism. Skills you can keep getting better at but those things seem more innate

I looked into it and he played around 20:30 a game this season...
not a great 5v5 scoring rate per minute. Like, really not a good rate.

I was reading this thread, saw Luchanko described as an "average athlete" and had to laugh. The guy was the first-ranked player in the CHL Prospects Game athletic/skills testing, and blew away the combine, as well.
Athleticism is probably his best trait.
