I wouldn't bring in a stone cold Robertson, but totally onside with 34, 88 & 16 being on 3 separate lines.

I'm getting comfortably numb - scotch and the devil's lettuce - before puck drop. Gotta be catatonic so no violent mood swings. Cripes, you'd think after 50 years of being conditioned to accept bizarre unholy cursed defeat as normal...

Ah yes, that is the question. Do I dabble in a few drinks? I am a beer guy, and there is cold stuff in the fridge... that'll be a post supper decision ;-) I am leaning to yes just to calm the nerves lol
 
I think we'll win this game. Until about 2-3 hours ago I was sur that we're going to lose. I don't know what changed my mind, but finally I'm optimistic again.

2 goals for each of Matthews & Nylander... Marner will have 4 assists.

The Habs score first.
Matthews ties the game with 30 seconds left in the second and then PURE DOMINANCE in the 3rd.

GO LEAFS GO!!!

Tavares and Muzzin are injured and the team has a mountain of pressure on them
 
They better win tonight because I don’t think I can handle 1 more post game press conference where Marner comes out and say he/they weren’t ready to play tonight......golly awe shuck.....
If I was management and he said that I would have serious concerns about his commitment to being a professional hockey player. For 11 million a year he should be head butting the locker room door in anticipation of the game

There's a real possibility that we can show up with a great team effort tonight and still lose a nail biter.

Unfortunately, we have put ourselves in this position by blowing 2 chances to close out the series.

The fact that we are playing yet another game seven is disheartening. Look I totally believe they can win, but let's not pretend they don't have something to prove. Fans are right to be anxious.

First one at home though! Edit: for this core, and lets not forget they earned that.

All-time, the franchise is 7-1 in game 7's at home.

Absolutely right to be anxious... its game 7, ANYTHING is possible!! Good, bad, ugly...

Today is going to be a real big test for this team, and the organizations future going forward.

So lets see who shows up and who steps up and who is just a passenger along for the ride.

I wouldn't want to be in their shoes if they should lose this game and blow a 3-1 series lead against a serious underdog as the avalanche of negative attention and criticism that would be coming their way would force them all to leave town and shutdown all their social media accounts for the next 6 months. That should be the only motivation they need to avoid that negative press and give it 120% and leave it all on the ice tonight.
