They didn't throw them, they lost them and then bounced back to close out the series, something this spineless team has been unable to do for nearly 2 decades now.

Losing our number two center. Now our best defenseman. This wont be easy tonight. Rielly I'm not the biggest fan of, but he has played well this series. He really needs to play huge tonight. I hate the Habs. I love da Leafs. I hope our boys show up. GO LEAFS GO
 
Marner and Matthews just straight up have to show up. There are no excuses for them.

If they don't perform and we still win, I'm not sure I would have much confidence in the team going forward.

If they don't perform and we lose, well, fun offseason ahead.

Everything is on their shoulders. It's a challenge yet an opportunity at the same time. Just put the puck in the net.

A good thing for the Leafs is that the Habs seem to have lost that desperation edge that they used during the last couple games. The narrative has shifted and you now almost see over-confidence at play with them (and they don't have the talent to play that way)

That's what I mean. It's really showing late in games. Zero need for him to PK at this point.

Maybe stop taking stupid penalties like over the glass, too many men, and moronic challenges that have no chance of succeeding and we won't have to worry about the PK too much.

BTW.....who is officiating tonight? Our best buddy?
