All we've done is swap out some league minimum depth player veterans since last year. I don't see how you think we're any better. Brodie's better than Barrie I guess... but I mean it 's pretty much the precise same core of players. And we can't say goaltending because Andersen was INSANE that series.

I love Kadri, but the best ability is availability and that is what Kerfoot is right now. He's also the second leading scorer on the team (lol) so that's also a nice add. Your point stands. It's still the same core and if they don't get it done then this is all on them.

Matthews and Marner have a chance to really make their mark as a Maple Leaf tonight. Game 7 against the Habs, can’t think of a better opportunity. Obviously the end goal this year is much loftier than beating Montreal, but this is the first step. It’s game 7, and it’s a clean slate

Kerfoot is going to be an interesting topic of conversation in the offseason. The playoffs have kind of showed us what we thought he could be. If I am Seattle, I am certainly picking him in the expansion draft. I had Seattle picking him before the playoffs already, but now he is their obvious pick.
