If you want to maximize Michkov's skill set, you couldn't choose a worse coaching staff than the buffoons currently behind the Flyers bench.
But he'll play the "right way"If you want to maximize Michkov's skill set, you couldn't choose a worse coaching staff than the buffoons currently behind the Flyers bench.
Agree. I do not think his second contract will be that paralyzing, as Tortorella will never let him excel to that pointIf we can get him over sooner than expected, do it. Preserving ELCs year is secondary to actually having him at all.
Who knows how circumstances might change in Russia. Secure him while we have the chance.
TK at .89ppg in the highest scoring environment in the NHL in 30 years isn't the flex you think it is.Eh, TK is almost a PPG player under Torts. No reason Michkov cannot excel.
Sure, I am just saying Michkov could still excel in spite of Torts.TK at .89ppg in the highest scoring environment in the NHL in 30 years isn't the flex you think it is.
Only a handful of players have ever broken a ppg with Torts as there coach
Sure, he could. But there is a log list of very talented players that have struggled to put up good point totals under Torts. I see no reason why this wouldn't in turn effect MM.Sure, I am just saying Michkov could still excel in spite of Torts.
If they fire Torts we all know who they will replace him with. The same type of coaches we have had for a couple of decades plus thanks to the senile advisors. Except for Lavy and even he could not adjust once teams figured out what he was doing.Sure, he could. Panarin did fine under Torts, and so will Michkov. The kid isn't a Morgan Frost.
Just curious, have you compared his point production from Columbus to New York?
Not really fair to suggest that Panarin's point production improved when he left Torts for New York if you're not also going to acknowledged that Panarin's point production increased when he joined Torts after Chicago.
