Thats called natural progression as you enter your 3rd NHL season and your Prime. His point production jump from Columbus to New York is because playing for Torts stifles offense. This isnt some unknown phenomenon.
Panarin did fine under Torts, and so will Michkov. The kid isn't a Morgan Frost.
Almost like NYR has much better talent for him to play with.He averaged 3.1P/60 under Torts, in his prime scoring years and has averaged 4.0P/60 since he left CBJ. Torts has had a simular effect on almost all the top talent that has played for him.
Almost like Torts has this effect on a ton of players. Please point out Torts 3 best offensive teams.Almost like NYR has much better talent for him to play with.
Wow. What a murders row he got to play with that first season.Almost like NYR has much better talent for him to play with.

Not sure if you're joking? Kreider, Trocheck, Fox, Zibanejad have all been pretty prolific scorers.Wow. What a murders row he got to play with that first season.
Wow. What a murders row he got to play with that first season.
And now he gets too play with offensive juggernauts like Chris Keieder and Vincent Trocheck. I mean of course he is going to pour in the points with such world class offensive weapons around him!
Seems like there's something about coaches like Tortorella and Quennville huhNot really fair to suggest that Panarin's point production improved when he left Torts for New York if you're not also going to acknowledged that Panarin's point production increased when he joined Torts after Chicago.
Here are the season averages for these prolific sorcersNot sure if you're joking? Kreider, Trocheck, Fox, Zibanejad have all been pretty prolific scorers.
Whereas CBJ has PLD, joey anderson, duchene, foligno, atkinson, bjorkstrand, seth jones, yuck....
You have a million good arguments at your disposal to make the case that Tortorella is a stifling coach who doesn’t make his best players shine. You don’t have to resort to ridiculous arguments like this one to make that case. Here are the season averages for these prolific sorcers
Kreider 55
Trocheck 59
Zubanejad 65
Fox 70 (of look one actually impressive one)
Wow, what an amazing, prolific group of scorers. Truly awe inspiring.
Yeah all their point totals went up when Panarin showed up. Really shows how good of a player Panarin is.You have a million good arguments at your disposal to make the case that Tortorella is a stifling coach who doesn’t make his best players shine. Each of those players are excellent, and you are blatantly misrepresenting their impact. Particularly in the case of Zibanejad who has been PPG+ over the last six years.
Someone gets it.Almost like NYR has much better talent for him to play with.
Nobody said Panarin doesn’t help them too.Yeah all their point totals went up when Panarin showed up. Really shows how good of a player Panarin is.
I wonder why he wasn't able to have that sort of impact for the CBJs.

Check the Sedins' numbers under Torts.
Because he had a great scoring history in the nhl before tortsI just look at whats going on with Morgan Frost
Yeah, we'll take him now and get him out of the shitshow that is Russia if its even possible.1 more year in the KHL would be ideal, then off to the NHL. But thats predicated on Michkov playing anywhere but Rotenberg’s shitshow in St. Petersburg and everything connected to it. Cant blame him if he want to leave early.
It would never happen, but i’m salivating at the thought of Michkov playing a year under Razin or Larionov. Ugh.
