Let him practice his game without pressure in the KHL while the Flyers build a team for him.
When he comes over at 21, he'll be physically mature, polished and ready to make an instant impact.
Fair enough but he could play right now in the NHL.....3 years is to long....I hope he comes over in at least 2 years.....however it must be said, in terms of our rebuild and being terrible, it might be best to leave him over there for the full 3 years.....if we can be terrible for the next couple of seasons, we can add some more young studs ......

I think what people forget is the huge impact adding a player like that for "free" will have in three years, not only does it instantly elevate your top line, but it pushes a good winger (TK, Farabee, Brink) down to your second line, and someone else down to your 3rd line.

I think, he still has a chance to become a center, especially if it's what he wants.

When I say that his production will explode with just a fraction more of finishing by him/his teammates, this is what I mean. He is scoring at a PPG and yet that doesn't even factor in the multiple Grade A chances he has/creates every game.

This is the kind of thing that makes me want to sell all the Laughton's of the team to go all in on maximizing talent right away so Michkov will have someone to play with. The team needs more than 1.5 lines

losing 7-1? he could never be captain. he's just not tough enough. Terrible leader, troublemaker, puck hog, why did we draft this bum.

If he was a real leader he would have stopped those pucks himself.

Kucherov had 7 points in 27 KHL games....?

EDIT: Appleyard meant Kuznetsov, I believe.

Since HF boards is the reason I actually ever get paid any money for hockey and have got to travel to WJCs, WCs etc...

figured I would let you guys know first to keep your eyes peeled over the next month or so for some pretty spectacular Michkov content if I dont say so myself...

wheels are turning and I am quite excited.

whatever it is... you sir DESERVE every bit of it..

I think he missed two empty net goals in OT and then his team lost. Painful.
lol ya cska pulled their goalie in OT and michkov caught himself out there with a few icings, it was only a matter of time

Michkov just got a promotion to clear-cut 1RW...

Rendulic moved to SKA, officially confirmed. Indications are that Michkov's old junior, national team and KHL line-mate Marat Khusnutdinov will be coming back.

Khusnutdinov was one of SKA's best players last year and this year has been demoted from middle six to 4th line to start the season... and is now an extra skater.

Why did Sochi trade their leading scorer to SKA? How will this impact Michkov?
