Wish they didn't ruin his chances at the Hobey Baker.
He can win it next year then.

If Laf was playing then like he is now, he would have earned quality ice time sooner.could have happened a long time ago if this idiot organization didn't bury him down the depth charts. but thats for another thread.
Perreault is on a different path.
He’s always had the hands tbh….If Laf was playing then like he is now, he would have earned quality ice time sooner.
He’s always had the hands tbh….
He would score some nice goals and always had an excellent writer…
The 2 biggest differences I see are his legs and his confidence…
You can tell he worked his lower body a lot this past offseason.
I do think the faster he gets on. Top PP in the league the better.
That will help boost his stats along with his confidence as well
Well we know that’s a lie because he’s still not getting the ice he deservesIf Laf was playing then like he is now, he would have earned quality ice time sooner.
Who comes off the power play?Well we know that’s a lie because he’s still not getting the ice he deserves
And if you think he's not light years improved this year....Who comes off the power play?
realistically mika needs to come off but then he would be totally useless.Who comes off the power play?

Yeah, the PP has been a big disappointment this season.realistically mika needs to come off but then he would be totally useless.
The bracket starts this Saturday. If he's not playing that would be VERY worrisome.
BC's opponent is still TBA.
Obviously, he always was immrnsely talented, but his skating has gone from a liability to an asset, presumably because of working on it, and the fact that he's processing the game exponentially faster.
Yeah, knowing our beat writers they would ask Laviolette, to ask his daughter about what the injury is, since she goes to most of the BC games...So apparently the injury he has is a hand injury based on someone from BC.
Better than a concussion but it would be nice if any of our beat writers did their on homework since it's been 3 weeks since he's been out and he's our top prospect.
Hopefully he's good to go for Saturday's game.
BC just BARELY won yesterday vs a bad UCONN team, blew a 4-1 lead in the 3rd but won 5-4. Smith with just an assist, Leonard a goal(both off a PP), and Cutter with zero points. At ES that line didn't get any points.
Gabe really needs to get back into the lineup or they will be knocked out quickly. Gabe was the big game player when the knockout games started at the WJCs.
Fortescue scored a goal.
They play UMASS on the 22nd.
UConn wasn't one of the better Hockey East teams but it wasn't a pushover. It was ranked 24th out of 64 in the nation. Hockey East is very arguably the best college conference. UConn also had 8 NHL draftees on their roster this year including Nashville 1st rounder Matthew Wood. I think Perreault being out and Gauthier being up with Smith and Leonard somewhat negates BC's two/three line attack though that top line didn't do a lot last night....it was more the second line.
I like BC. A lot of Rangers current and past have played for that program. Brian Leetch, Chris Kreider, Brian Boyle, Kevin Hayes...... even Mike Mottau. Winning the championship would be great this year but I'm not invested so much I'm going to lose sleep over it.
“You can’t compare the way he thinks the game directly to an Artemi Panarin yet, but it’s that kind of thinking ahead where size isn’t a factor,” Brown said. “Johnny Gaudreau was another guy that could use his brain to not let the battles get turned into battles of strength. Gabe’s able to win a lot of puck battles by getting body position early because he’s outsmarted the other guy. And he sees the ice so well that the passes are off his stick before someone can close and pin him. He has an elite hockey brain to negate whatever the size disadvantage may be.”
