How many goals did Yager score? I'll wait for you to do the math of who had more goals.

Cheers! Enjoy another Saturday watching the Leafs!

Edit: Oh and Brayden Yager is a FANTASTIC player! Thank you for holding Easton Cowan to those standards, it will be tough but rewarding to try and keep up with great young players like that for him, or to strive higher!
why would anyone want to watch the leafs, I’ll watch the NFL thanks.

Imagine thinking one goal in a tournament is a flex. lol.

So the math was too difficult then, lol.

Cowan 1 goal - Yager 0 goals = 1 goal difference.

Who had more goals?
The above formula shows that Easton Cowan had more goals, the solution of which indicates that he had scored more times but that's not to be confused with a different statement "Easton Cowan scored the most goals for team Canada" which was not stated by anyone as it is factually incorrect.

If you cant tell yourself the truth, why would anyone else believe what you have to say? You watch the leafs more than anyone watches Ottawa lol.

What else could you have meant? He has been playing well.
"Well" is not what you want from the reigning OHL MVP. He's been significantly worse this year than he was last. He's on pace for 65 points in 49 games, when he scored 96 in 55 last season. He's had whole games where he looks invisible. If London weren't so deep with forward talent I think you'd hear a lot more about how poor Cowan has been this season in the OHL relative to expectations.

I don't think it's wrong lol his point production is way down. The odds that he has been playing through something that if it wasn't for the point streak he would have missed time for is pretty high I would say. He isn't having as good of a season as he had last season. It isn't the end of the world but it is okay to admit it too.

He has played well all year and had scored in every game he played in - obviously not invisible.

...a 2nd assist on a play you weren't even really a part of doesn't mean you had a good game, or weren't invisible for most of it...lots of players get on the scoresheet and still had ass games; Hell, Mike Matheson has made a career out of it...that's not bashing Cowan, just a simple fact of hockey...

His point production is down this season. I don't think anyone would deny that. What would be the point? It is publicly available and can be checked by anyone. However, he has played well this season. He has been physical, he has learned to play without the puck. He has been taking draws. He plays the point on the powerplay.

Sure, and zero points doesn't mean you have had bad game. Luckily Cowan has been extremely consistent this season.

You must not watch much OHL if you think it's not possible to put up points while being otherwise invisible. The cream of the crop can fill the net with very little effort.

Specifically regarding Cowan: he's benefitted from empty-netters and secondary assists in plays he didn't actually do anything on, some very generous scorekeepers, and the fact that if it was the third period his teammates literally did everything they could to force-feed him so he could maintain the streak. There have been plenty of games where, once Cowan got his point, he just faded into the background.

I watch a lot of OHL. I do think it is possible to put up points while other wise not doing much else. It doesn't apply to Cowan though. He had a couple of empty net goals during his 65 game point streak. The last one coming against the Rangers last Tuesday. He showed a lot of hustle on that one. He was also great on the dot and was consistent the whole game as he has been this season.
