Idk how you can publicly request a trade and also publicly say you’re only open to being traded to three teams, but then again I’m one of those Millennial losers who doesn’t like to f*** over my soon to be former employer.
Millennials don’t f*** over their employers because they’ll all be the CEO in 5 years

That Vinnie contract looks even better when compared to Larkin.Throw in stats from the past few seasons between the 2 and Vinnie kills him.

but all said...I feel like lots of teams still don't value Trochek thaaaat highly. Larkin has a skewed view because teams see him as a gamebreaker with his speed. Trocheck is a depth guy. Nevermind their actual production.

Because Gm's are dumb and group think in a stone age way

It depends where you use him. If they want a middle 6c and use him that way then production will obviously drop. The entire season all we heard was talk about how he should be 3c and off the top powerplay, if that's the case elsewhere then they won't value him as high. It depends what team has a 2c #1pp spot open for how much they value him.

Bob Stauffer mentioned Babcock a few weeks ago. Everyone thought it BS. Edmonton wants Cassidy but Vegas is saying no. There is no language in Cassidy's contract stating Vegas needs to allow Cassidy to coach another team while still under contract to Vegas. They will pay for next season. EF mentioned Edmonton might go in a different direction. Short term thing.

Mike Babcock. The Oilers better delete the photos on their phones.

Stan Bowman. Mike Babcock.

I mean I don't think he "should" be a 3C. He produced fine on the power play and otherwise for most of his time here as a 2C. But also at his age you're probably not going to want to rely on him being a 2C for the rest of the contract either

What current forward would we most likely see being a part of a trade package for a 1C? — Spencer C.

Russo:
I sure hope it’s not Eriksson Ek, but we can assume Kaprizov and Boldy aren’t going anywhere, and of all the forwards that will be asked about, Eriksson Ek stands out. Plus, he has limited trade protection. He can be dealt to 21 teams without his permission. But if you’re going after Larkin and offered Yurov, Stramel and a first, I’ve got to think if a forward is thrown in at that point, it’d be a lesser player like a Ryan Hartman or Yakov Trenin. If it’s a defenseman, maybe it’s Jonas Brodin or Jake Middleton, who has a no-move until July 1.

Trocheck behind Larkin made sense Without Larkin, does Detroit have interest in Trocheck who is a 2C/3C on a very good team? Yzerman can't give up on the season. Larkin wants out because Yzerman failed to acquire the pieces to help the Wings get better.

People talk about Nemec as a prize acquisition. What has Nemec done in his career besides complain about his situation in NJ? Right-handed shot D have value.
I wouldn’t trade a high pick for Nemec either.

The last several drafts have defensemen in the top 10 who have busted or are in danger of busting liv. I’d drive Schneider anywhere in North America for a draft pick as high as #8. I’m not warming up the car in anticipation.

Wait... So you think NYR will sign Raddysh, then retain and flip him for Larkin?
Bro..
bro, did ya read it like w/context to prior pts I made....

There was huge lamentation from a coupla guys that among other concerns, COULD NOT be done b'c cap; specif too far below cap floor, like 32m.

I said there were ways around that, incl signing guys we have rights to not yet under contract, and offering bridge deals early for some.

Then I said, you could also weaponize it.

And this proves my pt.
You can sign Rads and overpay a bit for just 2 years above market, then retain slightly before flipping him to DET for the needed pivot at 8.

ALL THOSE DOTS CONNECT
so it can be done, proves my pt.

Even if it were realistic, I wouldn't trade Raddysh for Larkin. I don't know who some of y'all think Dylan Larkin is.

70 point player who sucks defensively. Trocheck with extra steps.
Setting aside any deep dive critical eval of any of these players
what I said holds.

You said whatev else, I have a prob w/a 1st line w/o 1st liners
I said, setting aside what has to be done long term, including go coupla steps back to go ahead several steps,
that aside
it can be done if you are prepared when opportunity knocks

How flawed Larkin is/isn't, he's a legit 1C in 2026.

bern's pt is, once again, you CAN go outside the box
lwdb
you know ya wanna

I heard EF's segment on the FAN590. He referred to the Larkin list reported today. Minnesota. Vegas. Florida. His reporting never mentioned Vegas. He added there are other players who have requested trades and he is trying to confirm the information.

His reporting included Minnesota, Dallas and both Florida teams. He has mentioned there are other players besides Larkin who have requested trades on more than occasion.

Who are the other players looking for a trade?

JT Miller god willing.

Are we all under the assumption that Hellebuyck has?

Do you think Adam Fox might be one of them?
