Peeps lamenting about not grabbing Larkin who is suddenly available.

If we did this my way, we could prob have our cake and eat it too on this one. How?

We keep most of our good picks/prospects and use cap space. Remember, this is something like 36 mil cap space before doing any of the other creative stuff I said.

We can't be irresponsible and take on long term contract esp since we would be gambling on Larkin, whose game is speed, to hold up.

But we could go to Yzer-meister and say ok, we'll overpay, say, Raddysh but only for 2 yrs, and retain coupla mil.
Something like that retained Rad for larkin as a base.

I mean it depends on the price. He has progressed well and had 21g and 20s with very little PP time. He doesn't turn 25 until January. A first line center he is not, potential 2C, yes. Especially with the Rangers trading Trocheck.

Yeah, probably, and none of those teams are surprising to me after Friedman's initial reporting. You got to the two destination spots and then a team with a bunch of his US hockey teammates that's a quick flight from home for him. Not sure how FLA would get it done, but flipping 9, Luotsorainen, and other fluff for Larkin and Cossa makes a lot of sense for them if they're not signing Bob.

I no longer want Larkin because he wants to go to teams where the work is already done for him. Seems like that will be Guerin’s swing. And to think Drury gets crap for the Team USA stuff.

I think this help’s reset Trocheck’s market if Larkin goes to the Wild. Thomas isn’t getting moved. There will be half the league looking for a guy like Trocheck

The list is strategically based. Florida has Barkov, Bennett and Lundell. They don't really need another center. Vegas has no assets. Their cap is already squeezed. Minnesota is his first choice. Top choice.
