They traded a top 6 center (sort of) and their most effective forward for futures. They acquired mostly crap sans Ghost. Chychrun could get the most offensive usage, given he’s a building block. Either way, it’s an awful situation for Ghost to be in that should make the disparagers giggle with glee. That team will be horrid.

It will also be entirely Ghosts fault for not producing with nothing to play with, meanwhile it's not Risto's fault that he's sucked because Buffalo

With the next 2 drafts having some top tier talent; I’d definitely make that gamble as ARI is financially screwed, so the next best step is to make them marketable and good at the same time. Some of these players in the next two drafts could have a serious impact on the NHL and the team.
I think I this is a bad act for the NHL business, but the long-term implications for the team are huge.

Yeah we overpayed for a FA cause it was sooo important to get a center. After that we went out and overpayed with picks and players for a player who was sooo important in risto. In both cases it would be ok to overpay for a player who rly helps. But both players are not helping enough for their price tag and aquiring costs. Hayes is a good 3 rd line center, not worth his contract. Ristolainen is a 3rd.pair defenseman not worth the cost. Congratulation Fletcher. Missed on both chances! If you overpay for a healthy Eichel or Lindros back in the days its worth. Not for mediocre players like risto or hayes....

Maybe he can trade a new Setogutchi for a new Burns. Not saying Sanheim is Burns. But Fletcher is able to find.a worse Player other than Seto for a trade with Sanheim. Make it happen Fletch!

One can only hope. Risto has best play up to his contract this season or the Flyers should move him at the TDL. Then find a different RHD for the second pair. JMO but I think that Sanheim will play better hockey than Ristolainen this year.
 
If risto doesn’t do well he won’t be traded at the deadline..sorry to burst ur bubbles fellas but it just ain’t happening

If risto underperform or better, perform like he did in buf, sanheim will get the blame. So i see a sanheim trade and a risto signing before i see a risto trade. And if a player plays bad for the flyers the whole league will see it. And no one will trade for him. Someone played bad for buf and only we wanted to trade for him. Smells like bad spirit:laugh::naughty:

Before they fire Fletcher they will fire AV. Fletcher will sign the most useless coach he can find cause the front Office has a love affair with him. Because of that Fletcher will stay at least 2 seasons. So i bet he will sign risto
