Here's my guess but don't hold me responsible if I'm wrong
I’m starting to lean towards the fact that 2 of those 4 aren’t gonna be in the system. If I had to guess, Savoie and Rosén.Multi-year is bad. 1 year at 7M is preferable to 2 years at 3.5M.
How do we plan on giving spots to young guys next year? Skinner, Mitts, Tuch, Thompson, Cozens, Quinn, Peterka, Greenway...8 spots of your top 9. It already is going to be tough to incorporate more than 1 of Benson/Savoie/Kulich/Rosen.
Even still there's a good chance we have to break in 2 guys next year, and Benson is likely one of them. Kane makes that hard.I’m starting to lean towards the fact that 2 of those 4 aren’t gonna be in the system. If I had to guess, Savoie and Rosén.
Have no evidence of this.
is this guy legit ?
Essentially it's Terry's problem if he goes on LTIR.This is exciting. The best American player ever, born a stone's throw from the arena.
However, I'm going to need a refresher on how LTIR works so I can get comfortable how we manage this if Kane ends up being shot during a 2 year deal.
How so? Seem like polar opposites - a player from Boston who hated it here vs. a player from Buffalo who ostensibly loves it here.a few thoughts if it happens...
It could help PP2, L3, leadership, etc
Mystifying after the whole Eichel ordeal then they sign Kane
Ride Share drivers in Buffalo are against this deal...
Is the Krebs thing related to this ? Has to be in some way.
Maybe they find a taker on Oloffson or waive him to Roch.
Why? He would be fine on the 4th line playing ~ 10 min when they need a cycle or on the PK2.Still frustrates me we brought back Okposo. That signing showed a lack of seriousness about winning.

Not sure they're very comparable. Jack had 7 more years on a $10M deal, so our interest in his physical future was much greater than a half year or two of Kane at $3M.medically
with what is going down with Backstrom (semi retirement) it seems like pretty big risk, of course we all know there are other reasons the Eichel thing went down. Vegas took the medical risk and won the cup.Not sure they're very comparable. I do not like this and think it will matter little if he is signed, but who knows, maybe it lights a fire under some people.
if it blocks a offer to Mitts finacially then it's really dumb (are best player so by far this season). If you can still sign Mitts long term than I can deal with a 2X3-4 for Kane
