If he doesnt clear then Ticker becomes the #3 or #2 if Levi falters.
Don't forget complete lack of goaltending!Ya, it’s the run and gun system.
Not roster construction, cap management, keefe, terrible goaltending, Boston and Tampa, miserable bottom 6 pick ups, bad injuries.
Jost will be waived tomorrow and blamed for tonight's lack of offensive production.
Because Sabres
His salary should guarantee he clearsThey will say it was giving others a chance to see him in an expanded role or some such.
I would expect him to pass through without being claimed if that is the move.
It's not hard, they waive either Robinson or Jost, then move the remaining player or Comrie if Girgensons is readyDo the Sabres have to be in compliance by noon tomorrow (Thursday) or is there a different time limit?
I'm fascinated to see what shenanigans GMKA comes up with to cover for all the issues.
Well isn't Skinner practically "untouchable" with a NMC?I’m ready to move Skinner. I really do think it’s something in the water with him. 1,000 games without a playoff game cannot be purely luck. One of the worst defensive players I’ve ever seen too.
It will shock the team and roster enough to maybe know that nobody is untouchable. We have enough prospects in the bank to replace him. Unfortunately that will be an offseason move and Terry will refuse to retain so we won’t get any takers.

No one will take Skinner. Why would they at 9 million? You would have to trade your 1st round pick with him to get rid of him.I’m ready to move Skinner. Gotta think that Jost is going to be waived. He has been useless for far too long, even if our coach decided to try him at first line center last night. It's not hard, they waive either Robinson or Jost, then move the remaining player or Comrie if Girgensons is ready
I’m not saying it’s strictly “his fault” as much as you’d like to simplify it as that. I think he’s part of the problem and makes a f*** ton of money and this group (or any group he’s been in) obviously hasn’t worked with him in it.Why Is it his fault
Need Skinner to waive that pesky NMC of his. Not sure on the amount of suitors that can A. take on even some of his contract and B. be an attractive destination for Skinner to waive for. Then there's the conservative nature of Adams of being a risk averse in making moves for guys.I’m ready to move Skinner. I really do think it’s something in the water with him. 1,000 games without a playoff game cannot be purely luck. One of the worst defensive players I’ve ever seen too.

The buyout is very workable this offseason. Any one of Quinn, Peterka, Benson,, Kulich, Savoie or some other of our many young wingers could take Skinner's spot. All of our top end guys are already singed to their big contracts. The cap will also be going up the next couple of years too.I think Skinner is there thru at least next year. At that point a buyout is very workable.
It’s an extra year of $2 million that I’d rather avoid. The guy still nets 30+ so he’s far from useless. The buyout is very workable this offseason. I would be very easy to buy out Skinner this offseason. Very easy. I say rip that band aid off sooner rather than later.
