As opposed to what’s been happening with those two ‘leading’ the team? First round wipeouts. So you want a totally unwatchable product that wins 20 games a year for next few years?

The fans aren’t buying it with 13 on the team. Check out the declining attendance each year since UBS opened. So you want a totally unwatchable product that wins 20 games a year for next few years.
Palms staying…better be a sweetheart of a team deal
Sounds like you’ll get your wish of enjoying a very watchable mid team go to battle! As per lebrun palms isnt going anywhere and will be extended
Well, that is certainly the Lou Lamoriello definition, I'll give you that. But if you are trying to win a Stanley Cup and/or become a legitimate contender for it (non-pandemic aided) then short term "success" of the sort that the Islanders enjoyed (and subsequently misinterpreted) is just another way of taking yourself further from the real goal.Weird, last time I checked if you do something that derives short term success, then it was actually a success.
At 34 how much is left that will help this team going forward ? This is not a good decision if the prices are elevated like they are .... Can't fall in love with a stock if you know its soon to head southM
Mistake by Lou, but I do love Palmieri, he’s been really good the last 2 years.
I'll take that over a team that wins 35-38 games and maybe an occasional 8 seed one and done for the next FOREVER.So you want a totally unwatchable product that wins 20 games a year for next few years?
