Maybe it is just me, but it feels like Carolina just shuffles players and contracts around, always looking for the shiny, new toy.

It’s a product of them not committing long-term to players that they don’t think merit such deals. Not necessarily a bad philosophy. Most of us wished Isles teams of the past and present would’ve done so.

Can’t say I always agree with Carolina’s specific decisions though… Koktanemi (sp.) for example.

JVR is horrible, he fills the same role as Lee, but is worse at literally everything. I dont like Bailey, but hes better than JVR.
