Vince saying Hunt is with 10-16.

Chytil, Goodrow and Goat are together but he isnt sure who the C is.

Barron is filling in for Mika, who isnt there due to flight delays.

I have had this nightmare before and it wasn't good then.

I imagine it will not be good now.

Who do we have to bribe with a sign to sit behind the bench?
Kreider-Z-Laf

Thinking about a possible trade with Vancouver. They just hired two assistant GMs who are LADIES. Who are the players who aren't in our long-term plans but are considered attractive? Think that's who they might target. @Tob any thoughts?

@EdJovanovski have discussed this at length in private DMs. There was a difference of opinion and it became heated at times but we both agreed on Vitali and Nils so that's a perfect start of a package to Vancouver. Ed enjoys a little bit of dark chocolate and with Reaves not playing up to par, maybe an off season deal could work. After that, Gauthier could use a change in scenery and give Vancouver a more chiseled look their new GMs are looking for. Anything else I can help with you?

No, that is sufficient, thank you.

a lot of cap space so I’m expecting quite a bit of movement. Just hope they don’t go overboard

I think a 2nd rounder+Reunanen for Reilly Smith would be a fine single move this deadline.

Not interested in Leddy. Don't see a lot of good LHD rentals that would both be cheap and better than Nemeth/Jones.

I can pretty much guarantee you that Kreider is never going to score at this pace again. That’s now how this works, players don’t magically get better once they hit 30

Gorton f***ed up not trading Kreider in 2020, if the opportunity presents itself to sell high and get something useful back, Drury would be silly not to do so

The Rangers aren't in playoff position right now without Kreider on the roster.

So If Kakko isn’t back by the tread deadline I’m scared to see what they do
Guess it depends on how they are playing and wins and loses By the tdl . He’s coming back this year not like he’s out for rest of season. Please no panicking Drury

One of the trades Gorton turned down was Jason Robertson+ for Kreider

Robertson is over a PPG right now and he’s 22 years old

It can be both a mistake (probably) while also acknowledging Kreider has been important this year

If arz was willing to take the contract for a future 1st would vegas do it? maybe, arz has said they will take money/contracts for prospects and picks.
The problem Arizona has is that they have already retained on two contracts and are holding the third spot for Kessel. He's got a $6MM cap hit but only $500K in salary this year. Most of his contract has been paid in bonuses. They are going to have to retain 50% of his cap hit to facilitate a trade.

If I thought we could get Robertson and a first for Kreider today I'd be a lot less worried, but that's not what he'd fetch.

But yes turning down that deal was a poor decision. We'd have Robertson and Buchnevich.

I have been thinking about this a lot and Kessel can make sense for the Rangers. They could bribe Arizona saying they dont have to retain, and allowing Arizona to use that spot on a different contract could help the Rangers get Kessel for a brilliant price.
