I wouldn’t completely rule it out.

Supposedly, St. Louis embraces the chance to defend and repeat and they are willing to spend in order to do so.
Kreider would be monstrous on St. Louis. Don’t see it happening though, they’re getting Tarasenko plus they’ll need young guys like Thomas and Kyrou to replace Steen and other veterans going forward

Time for me to throw another dart at the board. Anybody opposed to STL's 1st and Zach Sanford?
I like Sanford better than Jost and Colorado’s 9th best prospect but no doubt with Kreider that St.louis pick is 28-31 so would be disappointed with that return

Okay, now that Carp is teasing Rangers twitter with Kyrou, this board is going to be in for a huge let down tomorrow.

I just can’t see Kyrou being in any Kreider return but I of course hope I’m wrong.

Steen isn't contributing much and didn't contribute much last year. Not really hard to replace that production.

I wouldn’t rule out the Rangers coming back to him one last time with a slightly modified offer and giving him the chance to take it or leave it.

Athanasiou is being held out for Detroit. If Gorton moves both Kreider and Fast, do you think he’d turn around and look to add someone to help with NHL depth to help the team push towards a playoff spot? He or Grabner would add some speed that would be lost

I think the Rangers have a $6.5M at 6 years on the table for sure. I think they could go $6.75m. Not sure they do that deal for 7 years.

Final offers could be $6.75x6 and maybe (big maybe) 6.5x7.
Hmmm...surprised they wouldn't go slightly higher aav for less years. Kreider is a first line winger by every metric but term for a power forward is always an issue.

I’ve heard that CK would settle for 6 years but is looking for over 7 mil per. Any truth to that?
