If Kreider is indeed traded, I would be interested to see what other corresponding moves Gorton will pursue. Does he find a hockey trade out there to replace Kreider to keep this team competitive? Does he find a kid on the rise thats blocked somewhere else?

Kreider is netting a 2020 1st pick, there’s isn’t a scenario where he isn’t imo.

I think hes well positioned to make a major add this summer.

Keep an eye on a team like the Preds. They've hit a bit of a wall. They have some pieces I'd pay to get my hands on.

Not disagreeing with Dallas, but a #1 has to come back no matter what. This isn't Zuccarello. This is the most impactful deadline player in the last two years, more than Hayes.

Hayes got a 1 and Lemieux. The player needs to be higher end that Lemieux too.

This isn't a limited market and if everyone is reporting 1st and prospect or 1st and young roster player, there is no way that gets it done

I like it a lot but Gorton would need to help Nill out by retaining on Kreider.
I'm sure he would insist on their 2020 1st and the conditional be put on the additional 2021 pick.
Kreider on Dallas' top 2 lines would be pretty intense.
