This is what 'forcing him out' looks likeHank can’t even get a Carolina start. I’m 100 with Quinn here but that’s rough for hank. If he can’t play them who does he play against?

I think that question was answered when Igor was hurt and Georgiev played 3 in 4 nights.Hank can’t even get a Carolina start. I’m 100 with Quinn here but that’s rough for hank. If he can’t play them who does he play against?
I don't know what the coaches see... IF we get a defenseman equivalent to Igor, it wouldn't be a problem. Our LHD is our biggest weakness IMO..Cant we do the same to #18?
Some will actually be pissed if that happens lol
I would rather a roster player with a bit more upside/less of an injury history, or a prospect who is closer to being NHL ready. If that means we get 3 pieces instead of 4, or 2 pieces instead of 3, that's fine.
Kamenev isn't trash, but he's more likely a 4th line player than anything else and he's had some struggles staying healthy.
Ranta is a very raw talent who could end up as a Benoit Pouliot type. I think people are crapping on it because they're still convinced there's a "wow" piece coming back for Kreider, and that's just not going to happen.
I disagree. I think it is what a coach trying to win games and get a top prospect some playing time looks like. This is what 'forcing him out' looks like
That’s an insane deal. A 1st, and two former 1sts who, while having disappointing seasons, still have real upside. And a conditional pick on top? That’s a great return.

Like I said many times I wanted to rebuild two years before we ended up doing it but at some point you can’t keep doing it. Look I completely understand avoid disasterous contracts I get that but if you find a way to make it work and you are ahead of schedule then I feel it’s time to start competingInconsolable.
I can live with Jost, Kaut, a 1st and a conditional 2nd for Kreider, tied to either re-signing, or how far the Avs go in the playoffs.
Respectfully disagree. Kamanev having some struggles staying healthy is being kind. Last couple of seasons have been brutal. He would serve no purpose in the Rangers org. unless its to fill in at Hartford when he's healthy.
Not to crap on that proposal but it would be wiser to target players the Rangers could use to fill a need like Kaut or Beaucage along with Ranta. Of the prospects mentioned on this thread it would be Jost and Kamanev that I would be most wary of. Way too may question marks with both of them to be involved in a trade for Kreider.

It wasn't an issue the 1st half of the season. Georgie is till getting his reps while HL is not. He's been lit up 3 out of his last 4 games. 2 starts in January and 2 starts in Feb so far.I disagree. I think it is what a coach trying to win games and get a top prospect some playing time looks like.
If they were forcing him out, I feel like they would have given Georgie many more starts than they did early in the year. I also think Quinn has been remarkably consistent in his messaging and follow through regarding his goaltenders. When asked about Hank, he has said since game 1 they will go with the guy that gives them the best shot to win. Sometimes that was Hank, sometimes that was Georgie (hence their splitting of games for the first half of the season) and since Igor has burst on the scene, it is now himn.
This is mostly true but I have a sour taste in my mouth a little with Hank/DQ because I still think him pulling Hank in the second intermission of the Dallas game when we were trailing 4-2 was really stupid. A 2 goal game and you're pulling your goalie?I disagree. I think it is what a coach trying to win games and get a top prospect some playing time looks like.

lol - he’s like lost baggage on an airport baggage carousel. Nobody wants him but he keeps coming around. I’m back . . . again.
Same and honestly probably the best offer we'll get.I can live with Jost, Kaut, a 1st and a conditional 2nd for Kreider, tied to either re-signing, or how far the Avs go in the playoffs.
