I don’t consider Vesey a checker, but Fast would be great for them.

EDM fell off after their defense went down, and they can’t absorb and injury on the backend with a bunch of injury prone guys.
 
In before the snarky posters start blasting edge and BBKers for sharing. There’s excitement in ranger land, the board was busy, edge was obviously privy to something going on and started sharing and giving the guys on the thread at the time some breadcrumbs.

Let’s not bring too much heat to this as it might be the last time they feel comfortable sharing like that

Also, in a post from a day or two ago, @Edge said the Rangers have been talking to Arizona, Buffalo, Colorado, Dallas, Edmonton and Vegas. He's also said that Kreider, Buchnevich, Vesey and Namestnikov are players the Rangers are getting calls on. That should bring everyone up-to-date.

Vesey should be a checker if he wants to stick as more than a AAAA as you put it

BASed on what you said, wonder if Edmonton is interested in a guy like ada.

Smith lucic?

Say what you want about lucic, but he would punch Tom Wilson in the mouth and Rudas gukas

For sure. You hear a thing and then it's not a thing. I get that. That's the game.

But that's why I don't want everyone to get overexcited just yet, because @Edge doesn't deserve to be nailed to the cross if nothing pans out.

For some reason I keep forgetting about names when I’m thinking of deals

Posters such as Edge, BBkers, bobbop don't have to provide us with info. While we are all eager to hear wha they have to say (and trust me, I am no different), just remember to please treat them with respect. They are trying to do us a favor.

They're checking in with Arizona now that Kessel is supposedly off the market. They're trying to see if there's any last ditch hope to trade Smith or Shatty, even with 50 percent retentions.

There, I just saved some of you about 30 mins of reading multiple articles that aren't even focused on what's actually going on. It's like 1997 all over again.

There are no takers for Shatty and Smith.

BUF can help facilitate cap space for the Rangers. They need 3-4 NHL forwards and have maybe 1 farm hand that they can add right now. Free agents don’t want to live in BUF.

I know nothing about the TOR guys.

The guy who told me about Brodie weeks ago, also mentioned that there is frustration about another forward from CGY. Not Thachuk. Rangers have an upgrade on that player, but it would behoove CGY to add to that player, and vice versa for the Rangers.

Don Maloney works for CGY. Ranger connections are there.

I usually get pretty excited about stuff like this, but maybe because the Trouba trade has been so recent and so in the Rangers favor, and they're going to draft Kakko in a few days, but I'm feelin pretty zen right now

Yeah, I'm in a good mood right now, so there won't be a crash if nothing happens. Just enjoying it.
